The questions we're asked most.
- Where is Krēm?
- On Bridge Street in Westport, Co. Mayo, in the middle of town. The Visit page has the address, a map link and today's hours.
- Do you make the gelato yourselves?
- Yes. Every flavour is made in Westport in our own kitchen, by a fourth-generation gelato chef, with Irish milk.
- What flavours are in today?
- The Flavours page is the cabinet as it stands, updated within half a minute of the shop. Flavours come and go with the day and the season.
- Do you have vegan or dairy-free gelato?
- Yes. Sorbets and vegan recipes are marked on the Flavours page, and the allergen page lists exactly what each one contains.
- Where is your allergen information?
- At krem.ie/allergen-info: every product, the 14 allergens, and whether it contains them or may carry traces, read straight from our kitchen records. We are not an allergen-free kitchen.
- Can I order ahead?
- Yes. Order on krem.ie/shop, pay online, and collect at the counter. We start on it the moment it comes through.
- Do you have a loyalty scheme?
- Krem VIPs. It's free: points on every visit, rewards from a free coffee to money off, a birthday treat, and a pass for Apple Wallet or Google Wallet that you scan at the till.
- Do you sell gift cards?
- Yes, at krem.ie/gift-cards. They're sent by email in minutes and spent at the counter on anything. You can check a card's balance online too.
- Is there coffee as well as gelato?
- Yes. We roast our own coffee in Westport and sell it by the bag, and the café does crêpes, smoothies, milkshakes, cakes and an affogato on any flavour.
- Do you supply other businesses?
