Treatment of tips
- Your tips, whether given in cash or electronically, belong to our staff and are not used to supplement their wages.
Collection of tips
- Cash tips left by customers are securely collected and recorded by our shift leaders.
- Electronic tips made through our payment systems are processed and accumulated electronically.
Distribution of tips
- All tips, regardless of the form of payment, are pooled together.
- They are then distributed among all eligible staff members who were actively working during the period for which the tips were collected.
Fair allocation
- Tip distribution is based on a fair and transparent method of hours worked by each eligible staff member during the tipping period.
Taxation and reporting
- Our staff members are responsible for reporting their tips accurately for tax purposes, in compliance with Irish tax regulations.
