Founded in 2019 in the picturesque town of Westport, Co. Mayo, Krem Gelateria & Cafe is the brainchild of Graham Byrne, a fourth-generation gelato and pastry chef with a remarkable family legacy. It all began in the 1930s with Graham's great grandmother, who crafted delicious ice cream in their charming village. This tradition of skill and excellence has been lovingly passed down through the generations.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a passion for flavours, Graham embarked on a global journey to explore the diverse culinary experiences of different cultures. Alongside accomplished chefs, he immersed himself in the art of gelato making, earning a remarkable 14 awards for his exceptional creations.
Returning home to Westport, Graham was determined to utilize his extensive skills and experiences. Thus, Krem Gelateria & Cafe was born, serving as a testament to generations of knowledge and an unwavering passion for gelato.
